Remote sensing and natural hazards / disaster management

Effective management of natural hazards and disasters relies not only on determining the extent of damage post-event, but on the continuous cycle of reduction, readiness, response, and recovery. This project focuses on how remote sensing and spatial information can be better integrated within the disaster management cycle to assist communities to reduce the impact of hazardous events.
