How people respond to ideas that challenge their perceptions of natural ecosystems is critical to understanding how to best manage areas of significant conservation value. Landscape and wildlife photographs can provide new perspectives on issues that can gain traction across society. For example, Peter Dombrovskis' iconic image Morning Mist, Rock Island Bend changed the course of the Australian federal politics. This ongoing project aims to provide these new perspectives on contemporary issues affecting Australia's rivers and wetlands.
